All proceeds will help fund additional sections of boardwalk on the Bay Point Loop Trail.

This race is a fantastic introduction to trail running for the novice and other than one hill, it is a flat and fast course for the speed demons looking to set a personal best time. The course is 100% on dirt trail with the exception of a suspension bridge over South Chickamauga Creek. This event is open to anyone traveling at any speed. Hikers are most welcome and there are separate awards for the hikers. The run/hike will be followed by post race snacks, beverages and free admission to the Little Owl Festival which includes the following and more:

The Chattanooga Chase is the oldest active competitive road race in the area. This year’s event will feature an 8k and 1-mile race through the scenic North Shore neighborhoods. The 8k is known for its challenging hills and breathtaking scenery. Rock Creek will be awarding a PREMIUM to the first male and female to reach the water station atop Minnekahda Avenue, the race’s most challenging climb. The 1-mile race features a fairly flat, fast course through the neighborhood adjacent to Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. The first 50 finishers of each distance will receive a special edition race t-shirt!

The course is a multi-loop/out-and-back type of thing where you’ll pass the “aid station” more than once. We’ve got drinks and snacks covered, and at the finish line you’ll find an all-you-can-eat cereal buffet, including cold cereals, oatmeal, and yogurt with all the toppings. Lucky for you, your medal is a giant coffee mug that can hold all of these things!

The Inaugural ML5K Race is brought to you by the Graduate Student Association of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as part of our effort to create sustainable programs that provide opportunities to connect graduate students across disciplines, campuses, and communities.

In honor of the rich legacy which the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga shares with the MLK Community, all proceeds from this year's race will be put toward the first Graduate Student Diversity Endowment, which will provide an annual scholarship to a minority student exhibiting academic excellence and a commitment to community service.

The 5K is about as easy as can be found in this area and the 15K has some real challenges with the High Adventure trail, including a rope section and the difficult trail that travels down to the bottom of the magnificent Lula Falls. This event is open to anyone traveling at any speed.

The Bell Ringer 50k/25k route takes place on Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, TN. It features running on one of the best trail networks in the Nashville area.

This 31+ mile race gives area ultrarunners a close-to-home venue for a trail ultra and will showcase the tremendous natural resources of the Tennessee State Park system for visitors.

The course contains multiple uphill and downhill sections. The terrain is of moderate difficulty, providing a challenge to runners, but not too hard for first-timers.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Friends of Montgomery Bell State park to help raise funds to support Montgomery Bell State Park. Upon checkout, you will have the option of making an additional donation to Friends of the Park.

Single-track with a few "intense" climbs and one epic rock garden make for an experience that will leave you dreaming about unicorns for months. The race is supported by amazing volunteers who'll welcome you into each aid station with hugs and kick you back on the trail if you stay too long. The views are worth the crazy elevation and we hope you'll leave believing in your bad-assery more deeply while making some fantastic friends along the way.
